Privacy policy

This policy explains how I, Aisha Rain, handle personal information collected through this website. I aim to follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What I collect

When you send an enquiry, I collect the details you choose to give me: your name, business, email address, website, the service you're interested in and your message.

This site uses Google Analytics to collect anonymous information about how it's used, such as pages visited, approximate location, device type and how you arrived. It uses cookies to do this, and doesn't identify you personally.

How I use it

I use enquiry details to reply to you, understand your project and, if we work together, manage that work. I use analytics information to understand which pages are useful and improve the site.

I don't sell your information, and I don't add you to a mailing list unless you ask me to.

Where it's stored

Enquiries are processed by my website host (Netlify) and delivered to my email. Analytics data is processed by Google. These services may store data outside Australia. I keep enquiry information only as long as it's needed for the purpose it was collected for.

Cookies

This site uses cookies only for Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the site will still work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics on every site with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you by emailing hello@aisharain.com.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how I've handled your information, please email me first and I'll respond within 30 days. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
